PWND in less then 60 seconds
dyslexia and shakes made going to a PVE server a no brainer. In a game like this a double key tap or mouse click can mean death and a NPC has a pattern I can figure out while another player does not.
As a much hated gnome many have tried to throw a duel flag up at me and for the 2 months I have been playing this game I declined them.
Yesterday during the quest chain for - Rains Cleansing - I was getting frustrated trying to find a path to a shrine to charge the thingy I had gotten. After 10 minutes of wandering around , I went to a web site for some clues and found a good description of the path , soon after finding the shrine.
Now if that was not frustrating enough, I tested the thing , turned into a dog bear and spun around to follow the path back. Well I held the turn right key a little to long and walked forward right into a gully between a tree and 2 hills, with no escape. My little gnome was fully stuck and my hearth stone had 21 minutes left of cool down. Arghhh
22 minutes later - I was a little ticked off as I started my way to the moonwell for the next part of the quest. Stopping right outside of the town for a minute to reread the quest.
Before I could blink - a level 29 blood elf frost mage says something about stupid gnomes as she/he throws up a duel flag. Now this is a game and you really don’t die , so even though I have no idea how to duel , my anger gets the best of me and I accept. DOH
First I had no idea there was a countdown nor when it starts, I got the clue by reading the chat/battle log... 3 ..2...1....Opps!. I got off a COA and she hit me and voidy with ice block, i hit my escape racial and she, caught off guard, ran away and as i turned to face her... all i saw were leaves in my face and i was dead.
So what did i learn,
1. In PVP duels you only have 3 seconds to get ready.
2. It helps to have a potion or health stone ready - my bag was closed and i have not set up all my macros yet - so no health stone hot key.
3. Never use the smart camera feature in a duel. :P

Emails and lies
First i must say that there is nowhere in the rule of law or the constitution that states - these government employees serve at the pleasure of the president. Thats just another meme/phrase made up to fake out the uninformed.
Earlier this week i was reading about the number of steps a person has to consciously make to - send an email - its like 6 to 10 steps that need to be taken.
Sending an email:
1. Create a new message window.
2. Type name in the To field.
3. Skip the CC field.
4. Type subject in the Subject field.
5. Type message.
6. Send the message.
I can not for the life of me figure oput how someione that sends such a message could claim they can not recall the exact meaning of siad message or who it was sent to. That i a lie in its self.
The other big lie is - Rove stating he never uses email.. seems he uses it alot... just not the white house version of it. kr@gwb43.com could not be anyone else. That domain is owned and run by the RNC a very political orginization with no way to secure or reasone to retain email records.
This alone puts our security at risk and is directly against the federal laws pertaining to the preservation of White House communications.
the fact that over a week has gone by with out any response from the RNC about the emails on there servers shows a big gap in there knowledge of the technology the are using or that they have something to hide. AND ARE HIDING IT NOW!!!
I can get emails off of the thee servers i administer in less then one hour as can most email admins i know. There should have been no delay. These messages are outside executive privilage and -even if they contain government secrets - should have been turned over right away.
Yet were are the messages?
I am sick of the lies.

Ok, lets think just for a moment... In the US attorney purge information the senate has access to , There is reference of senator Deminici making a phone call to a US Attorney's home. This is in clear violation of rules and should lead to Deminicis leaving his seat, and i believe NM has a dem governor...who would appoint a dem as a replacement. That would nix any - POWER - middle man Lieberliar - might have had. :P

Sorry Mr. Warlock
I the dummy, over-excited about doing the Doing the Deadmines instance , forget all that i read about groups and just used the in game group tool. This put me into a group that i guess knew the layout of the mimes cause they were all running trough while my little gnome legs and body kept getting lost on the way.
Then i get killed and click the wrong button sending me to the graveyard instead of using my soulstone! Running back got me lost in the mine, taking several minutes to find my body. When i did find it , i could not find my group - this led to me in a big room with a bunch of Elites and no way i could see thru or run thru.
Just then another warlock seemed to try to come over and help , when he got attacked i tabbed to what i thought was the mob he was fighting ( Hey watch the top of the screen dude ) and placed 2 spells on the guys pet instead of the monster.
man i think he was mad cause before i could type im sorry i was being spammed by shadow bolts and the other warlocks title had turned to red. Well i ran to a corner as fast as i could and used my hearthstone to exit the mines.
It cost me six soulshards to not even get to the entrance of the instance.

My first PUG
So after a few hours of game play over 3 days, a nice human warlock helped me clear the area around the heartwood tree for my level 20 pet quest, i got the succubus.
A new pet for the warlock class in WorldOfWarcraft means new strategy's and tactics have to be learned. I decided to see what she could do while returning to Loch Modan to finish a quest tree. The quest had to do with saving the Stonewrought dam from exploding , next to the dam is the Mo-Gorsh stronghold with mobs (in game monsters ) that killed me easy at level 18. At level 20 i might be able to kill a few now i thought if i can use my pet to draw the monsters out of the cave opening.
Slowly we crept to the entrance and when in range, i shot a COA (Curse Of agony) at a mob and run back about 20 yards to pull the monster away from the others in the cave. Then i killed the monster and went for annother one.
Seems that a group was after Chok-suls head quest which starts at the MoGorsh cave and they were behind me watching my pulls. One asked me to join and not even knowing what quest they were on, i jumped in at a chance to work with a 6 man group in a dungeon.
Pick Up Group- This was a very loose group so i took the position of Off Tank -Priest guard. Letting the priest stand behind me and also picking up any added monsters that attack the MainTank, all the while spamming Spells every where. At one point the druid tank got carried away and had 4 mobs on him and i hit all 4 with searing pain spells which switched them off the druid and onto me. The others came to my rescue just in time.
At the end i had the head of Chok-Sul quest 4 levels earlier the i imagined.
WOW can be fun.

Its the Light .. Fear the light
Due to the lovely Patriot Act, hanging anything off of a bridge without the police or cities permission is plain stupid so I can understand a paranoid driver seeing a glint on a bridge, thanks to the Bush inspired terrorizing of the public.
What I can not see is a police bomb expert or anyone with some knowledge of electronics call that a bomb or device. Or to take so long to ID the sign and mislead the public of the danger.
It is a sad state of affairs when people jump to conclusions due to fear of a light bulb.

Fox news still called them devices six times in their story not once saying the were lighted signs.

For hours folks, the deployment of dozens of state, federal, and Boston police specialists, from bomb experts to terrorism analysts and it took seeing one in the dark?
That does not bode well for the people of Boston.
