Why the Daily Show is not Real news Nor is Fox News Channel

1. It is real news - But NOT Journalism
If you find out information that was unknown to you that is news to YOU, no  matter the source even Fox news or the Daily Show

2. It is not real news - If you claim -Real News- to mean Journalism then the standards of such apply , making Fox news as UnReal as the daily Show.
See if you can find ANY story on Fox that gives you Who,What,Where,When and How in the first 2 sentences without there being opinon or bias.

So one is Fake Journalism the other is Yellow Journalism

The GOP/Media Complex: Still Chugging The RNC’s Kool-

While certain print-media folk such as Joe Klein have started refusing to pass on Republican talking points as news, most corporate media outlets, especially radio and TV ones, are still chugging the RNC's Kool-Aid. Case in point: Their enabling of Republican efforts to turn the activist group ACORN into the latest EvilDemocratic Demon of this year

Betrayed By the Tainted Media

I often feel -overly Betrayed-by the lame journalistic attempts of todays media producers. The idea that a News orginization would jerk the rigging and use our own bots against us is quite sobering.

I think the use of headlines for information scanning is no longer a viable option for consumption on general access sites. A headline in My Rss reader from My known sources has a 98 percent chance that the story explains the headline.

Google News, Yahoo News even most any newpaper or tv news site just the same 1 or 2 stories rewriten 1000  times.
70% chance its just a Press Release - 30% Chance its not about the story or its biased. Thats not good enough for me to waste my time anymore.

Even The mighty AP seems to have forgotten the WWWWH and W (Who, What,Where,When,How and if space permits Why ) of EVERY story that is to be News.

Publishing Giants be damed - Full speed ahead.

My Blog Role is all my RSS feeds i dont link if dont read it.

Nothing to See Here: US Journos Decamp, Iraqi Journos Not So

Watching the US media, it’s hard to remember that we have an army occupying Iraq these days. In fact, the Washington Post reports that the American media presence is withering. Those reporters who remain in Iraq are being discouraged from covering the real news – perhaps to avoid reporting stories that contradict the “surge worked” dogma.

Soldiers Deserve More than Hollow Promises And Sham Support

America's soldiers and their families are strained beyond the breaking point, literally, in a lot of cases. It is in blood that empires are born, it's in blood they die

And so we come back to the heart of the war. We rarely talk about it anymore, but it's simple enough. All those people who supported the war, and most especially all those who voted for it, bear the moral responsibility for the results of the war. At least 100,000 dead Iraqis (and probably closer to a million). 4,000 and rising dead US soldiers. Rape. Murder. Torture. Orphans who got to watch their parents being killed. Husbands who saw their wives die, or wives who watched their husbands gunned down or blown into bloody carrion. Families who have buried multiple children.

Do We Need Another President that relies on Lies and Distortion

So All the news stories about the candidates for president, start the story with McCains claim about Obama - Ayers, then talk about Obama's Camp bringing up McCain and Keating in retaliation.

Now Obama was n ot even a teenager at the time, while McSame was a Sitting Senator and reprimanded by the Senate for his friendship.
Also the fact that Keating story was about Evil Bankers doing the same thing thats happening today.. you would think is a main point of such a story.

Not one news show of the 3 i watched this morning explained this.

The convenience of propaganda - PC World Fills Web Space

Fake Jobs Health News and Stocks

Nokia Iphone killer not available or testable but is already big competition.

PC World and its various sister Microsoft kiss ass publications, just hate Apple.

Only thing I can figure - as i read the latest piece of tripe about what this thing has that the Iphone does not.

So you can make a list and compare specifications on a not available device.

Bravo PC World.

This is the reason i dumped TechMeme - it was getting to biased against Non-Arrington concepts. Its not that i love Apple or Unix, its that I need real world applicable information, not skewed to one side or the other.
