OMG - i do not understand how a person that can use make and apt-get would think that average joe blow would be able to integrate linux into there life.
And these complaints about system differences are bogus - OSX - XP - Vista are all desktop gui based at the main user level what ever is under the hood.
Getting gnome or kde to work without knowledge of all your installed hardware is difficult if not impossible in most cases.
MacBook Air may not be the end all for a sub notebook but it does have the pretty OS that works out of the box.

What will History say
Bush is the ghost president - a shadow of presidents past and future, but a shadow none the less.
For he has withheld, misrepresented and destroyed any reliable information on what the hell he did and why the heck he did it. The death of our troops and the destruction of Iraq will be known but there will be no links to how they came about.
Laying a foundation of peace through fear, intimidation and occupation is some great legacy to leave.

How sick. No mention of Scientology's bogus claims as religion.
If before the interview - they gave some background on Scientology as compared to other religions - or even better to cults such as Jim Jones and HailBopp world enders ( Hubbards only real difference was realizing killing your cultists is bad for the business's bottom line ) - then the interview would have at least had perspective.

Why Sage software sucks
They did not update previous versions of peachtree to vista so dont get vista if ya have peachtree 2006 or peachtree 2007.
To say you need our extra paid customer service is sick in and of it self.
They change the interface and data usage on purpose every 3 years to force all users to upgrade and pay for un-unnecessary training.
The funny thing is the basic forms and reporting functions for accounting have not changed in 20 years, and even a complex change in tax law should not require the repurchase of already functioning ledger mods.

We have lost near all privacy in the US. WHat little we had before the computer revolution has been removed by the government with the help of those same computers.
Its to easy to click a few buttons and rewrite or erase history. It makes cheating or cutting corners easier for more people.
The more agency's in a gov the more people to be tempted. The Bush consolidation of agencies has actually added more middle men ( Farming out many functions that America did with in its own agencies.)and many more decision points not less, 6 steps to the white house not 2 or 3.
