McCain Hates Troops. says Vets all suck ( except hims)

John McCain has not voted for ANY Veterens Benifits in 4 years.

The same 4 years that have had 1000 vet suicide attempts a month, broken military hospitals and PSD.

McCain who crashed 5 navy planes during his time in the military, seems to think Saying POW  means more then getting tax dollars to our wounded.

More today

But that’s not where McCain and his party end on their false “support. As a diary at Booman Tribune detailed back in February, Mr Straight Talk is full of doubletalk.

McCain voted against the Webb amendment calling for adequate troop rest between deployments.

McCain voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities.

The Times of Dowd and Kristol

Josh at TPM Notes

The best evidence of the Times estrangement or I guess we're supposed to say, out-of-touchedness, is not any lack of conservatives on their oped page but choosing one who writes caricatures of conservative writing.

Extra Violence from the surge noted as part of success

Basra violence is a result of -The Success- of the surge and bush appoints a cyber-security czar whos got zero experience.

Worst Spin Ever

This is even dumber than the previously trumpeted “The fact that they are resorting to suicide bombs is a sign of our success!”
Just make this all stop. Blogging is too depressing anymore- it really was more fun when I was with the right wing and “making my own reality.” This actual reality just sucks.
Bush Luvs the troops families

Nobody could not have anticipated

After all, everything undertaken in Iraq is immediately proclaimed a victory by the Bush Administration. Yesterday, Bush and the Pentagon were already portraying the action in Basra as a "VICTORY" for the surge.
So for those of you scoring at home, or at a Motel 6, when you're finished here is the the rundown.
- Horrific biblical levels of violence = Success
- Protracted intolerable levels of violence = Success
- A return to horrific levels of violence = Success

Basra is burning

Be honest - have you even thought about the Badr Brigade in the last two years? You haven't have you? Well, think about it now - where do you think all those militiamen disappeared to? They sure as hell didn't go back into their lamps, you know. But the average American has about that level of understanding about just what the hell has been done in their name. Nimrods. (Not you guys, everyone else. Especially the idiots who still support this mess.)

McCain-BUSH Lies NotLOL

crazy, funny pix

Via PressThink

But there’s another way to look at it, which no one in the press seems to have considered. Maybe “Iran is training Al Queda” is McCain’s way of signaling that he intends to pick up where Bush and Cheney left off in discarding the whole reality-based approach to policy-making. That’s when you plant dubious associations in the public mind, and you don’t care if you get called out on them because an image is left on the retina, so to speak. By demonstrating to the press that you can say false things, never correct them, and pay no price for it, you dishearten reporters and make their efforts appear futile to themselves. Reporters should be on the lookout for this from McCain. It’s got to be tempting for him.

Yellow Journal-What? -Katie Couric or Matlin McCarthy

Ventriloquist dummy Couric-Bush Spouts GOP crap and questions Plame not the government or its motives.

Crooks And Liars

But the second segment is where Couric goes off the rails and shows her flair for White House talking points. It’s almost as if she implies that Plame Wilson should have expected the White House to out her because the work she did touched on the question that sent her husband, Amb. Joseph Wilson, to Niger.

COURIC: You never for a moment thought this could potentially jeopardize my career?

ALSO

FDLs Christy
Of course, for the crazed wingnuts among us, the CIA’s totting up of her NOC credentials won’t mean a thing. For the 80 percent of the country that isn’t loony, it is yet more proof that the Bush Administration has a host of problems, one of which is a treasonous act against our national security. You choose.

Timmy says - Chaney-Bush... I Mean I Pick what to investigate

New government shill - mister GOP talking points - Matt Lauer discussing the democratic debates with old government shill - Doctor GOP talking points - Timmy Russet ( Plame whos plame ).

Lauer comments about the questioning of detail in the Clinton health plan. Timmy says - we have to follow up on what these candidates say, and investigate the truth Matt.

So a major media head does NOT care about the truth in Iraq or , the tainted justice department or what a filibuster is , but will go out of his way to question a NON-Republican piece of news.

oh the spew - Roves History lesson

Damn Karl - still dippin in the Bushco trough.

K ROVE says -

If the outcome there is like what happened in Vietnam after America abandoned our allies and the region descended into chaos, violence, and danger, history’s judgment will be harsh. History will see President Bush as right, and the opponents of his policy as mistaken — as George McGovern was in his time.-.....

-The outcome in Iraq and Afghanistan will color how history views the president.

History’s concern is with final outcomes, not the missteps or advances of the moment. History will render a favorable verdict if the outcome in the Middle East is similar to what America saw after World War II.-....

It is so sad (hehehe) that the surge is not working, If we ever get out of Iraq/the middle east - it will be under a president that is not George Bush, he just does not really have the balls or the base anymore to get anything done before he leaves. That is a damn big IF Mr Rove-Bush.

From most accounts of current historians Bush will be known as TLTGP the little tin god president - that cheated to win his election, ignored Katrina, lied about WMDs, removed most of our constitutional rights and spent more time on vacation then any other president.
