And these complaints about system differences are bogus - OSX - XP - Vista are all desktop gui based at the main user level what ever is under the hood.

Getting gnome or kde to work without knowledge of all your installed hardware is difficult if not impossible in most cases.

MacBook Air may not be the end all for a sub notebook but it does have the pretty OS that works out of the box.

Why is this News.

Cellphones ARE NOT UBIQUITOUS , smart phones even less so.

Only a small percentage of people will hack there device, most knowing full well that the device may become damaged even with out the COMPANY saying so.
Its crying wolf when its just a shadow or tumble weed.

Technology updates are a fact of the life cycle of software as well as hardware.
Apple is in no trouble or -in an Un-Winnable War- this is just hype there is no substance to it.

Our Vice President still thinks its 1980, Fox news thinks the president did a Great job with the STOU and lets hope its over in 2 years.

History will see GW Bush remembered for getting America into the 7Years war and sending thousands to their deaths or as the guy who let a great American city be destroyed and forgotten.
